Tim Buffenbarger, owner of Lets Dance Studio in Little Rock, will be our dance instructor and DJ on Friday night, July 11th, at BLS. Heres a little more about Tim that you may not have known. Tim began dancing in 1978, inspired by the Saturday Night Fever dance craze. In 1982 he left his engineer profession at IBM in Lexington, KY, to move to Birmingham, AL, and begin a new career as a Fred Astaire dance instructor. In 1986 he moved to Little Rock to continue his dance profession because he always heard Little Rock was the best city in the world. As time went on he became an independent instructor, later formed a business partnership to start The Ballroom Company dance studio, and finally on his own again in 2008 began Lets Dance Studio, which still operates in the Tanglewood Center. His favorite dance remains the Hustle with Cha Cha a close second. In his 40+ year career he has helped a lot of people learn to dance. Who knows how many more years he has left in the dance tank?! Well, we at BLS hope its many, many more! If youve ever been to one of Tims Monday Night Group Classes or one of his Friday night dances at the studio, you know Tim is a top notch dance instructor and DJ. So come on out and learn the Hustle with us on Friday night at 7:00pm!
